LLC and LLP Newspaper Designations

The Designation of Publication for Limited Liability Companies (LLC’s) and Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP’s) should be in one weekly and one daily paper. The papers designated are chosen by the Ulster County Clerk.

The state law requests that you publish in the newspapers within one hundred twenty days after the effectiveness of the initial articles of organization. The notice should be published once a week for six consecutive weeks in one weekly and one daily newspaper. If possible the County Clerk suggests that you pick papers that are geographically close to where the LLC or LLP is conducting business.
