About Emergency Services

Who we are:
The emergency services of Ulster County are comprised of the traditional emergency responders such as police, fire and emergency medical services (EMS), along with the 911 dispatchers and the entire emergency management community. The common goal of all of these groups is to save lives. There are thousands of members of the emergency services community ranging from career personnel to volunteers. These men and women work around the clock to ensure the safety of Ulster County’s citizens. They do it with compassion, dedication and professionalism.

This site includes information on various Ulster County departments such as Emergency Communications/Emergency Management and the Fire Coordinator’s Office, with links to various organizations, training opportunities, meeting schedules and preparedness tips.
