The Kingston Hospital FIRST STEP Programs Services: Hospital-based, ten-bed detoxification and ten-bed rehabilitation programs offering individualized care for the chemically dependent. For those who qualify, the detoxification program serves individuals ages 12 and older, and the rehabilitation program is a variable length of stay (up to six weeks) for ages 18 and older. The rehabilitation program also offers a "fast track" to those who qualify. Specialty Areas: Services to pregnant women, individuals who are HIV positive, have AIDS, are on a Methadone maintenance program, or have a serious medical problem, or co-occurring disorder.
