At the December 19^th meeting of the Ulster County Legislature, a public hearing was held on Introductory Local Law No. 1 of 2002 to revise the Kingston Ulster Empire Zone Boundary. Majority Leader Richard A. Gerentine thanked Catherine Maloney, Zone Coordinator for the Kingston/Ulster Empire Zone. Cathy’s hard efforts to expand the Empire Zone will be very beneficial to businesses located within the Empire Zone. "This is a very positive addition for Ulster County," stated Gerentine.
