ULSTER AND DUTCHESS COUNTIES TO HOLD

"SURPLUS VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT AUCTION"

Ulster County Purchasing Agent Robin Peruso announced today that Ulster and Dutchess Counties will combine forces to hold a public auction. The auction will be held at the Pleasant Valley Auction Hall, located on South Avenue in Pleasant Valley on August 27th. The event will begin at 6:00 PM sharp.

The auction will consist of more than 100 vehicles, including vans, police cars, station wagons, pick-up trucks, utility vehicles and compact and mid-size sedans. A preview of merchandise is being held on Monday, August 25, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 26, from 8:00 AM to sale time on August 27. The preview will be held at the Dutchess County Auto Center located at 570 Salt Point Turnpike in Poughkeepsie.

It is imperative that all interested parties pre-register at the auction hall prior to sale. Also, the terms of sale are as follows: no guarantee, all sales are final, payment in full, cash or good check on night of sale.
