The Personnel Department announced the following open competitive exams:

• ADULT EDUCATION HEALTH CARE PROGRAM COORDINATOR. The starting salary is listed at $19.00 per hour.

• ALTERNATIVE SENTENCING ASSISTANT. The starting salary is listed at $14.66 per hour.

• COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS ASSISTANT. The starting salary is listed at $11.53 per hour.

• SECURITY GUARD. The starting 2004 starting salary for the Wallkill Central School District is currently listed at $26,537 annually. The starting salary for all other jurisdictions varies by location.

The exams for the above titles will be given on February 7, 2004. The last date for filing applications is December 31, 2003.
