FROM: ULSTER COUNTY PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICE DATE: December 21, 2004 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE DECEMBER 21, 2004 HOLIDAY CLOSINGS Ulster County Legislature Chairman Richard Gerentine has announced that all County offices will be CLOSED to business all day, Friday, December 24, in observance of Christmas, and CLOSED to business all day, Friday, December 31, in observance of New Year’s Day. According to Chairman Gerentine, all essential services, including the Sheriff’s Department, County Jail, Golden Hill Health Care Center and the Fire Control Center, will be maintained. The Ulster County Rural Transportation Mini-Bus will be in operation on Friday, December 24, using Saturday’s schedule. However, it will not be in operation on Friday, December 31. |
