Please be advised that Ulster County Offices will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2005. Election Day is considered a floating holiday and some staff may choose to take the day off. Those employees that do work will be given additional time off to use at a later date. Additionally, Ulster County Area Transit will be operating a normal schedule throughout the day.

All County offices will be CLOSED to business, however, on Friday, November 11, in observance of Veterans’ Day. Essential services, including the Sheriff’s Department, County Jail, Golden Hill Health Care Center and the Fire Control Center, will be maintained.
