Please be advised that all Ulster County Offices will be closed on Thursday, November 24, 2005 in observance of Thanksgiving Day.

Most offices will be closed on Friday, November 25, 2005 with the exception of the Ulster County Legislature Office, Treasurer’s Office and the County Clerk’s Office for the recording of legal documents only.

In addition, Ulster County Area Transit Mini-Bus will not be in operation on Thursday, November 25 but will be operating on a Saturday service schedule on Friday, November 26.

All essential services, including the Sheriff’s Department, County Jail, Golden Hill Health Care Center and Fire Control Center will be maintained on both days.

Calls made to the County Office Building main number (845-340-3000) over the Thanksgiving holiday will be answered by an automated voice system which will direct the caller to the appropriate office.
