The Treasurer's Office is responsible for recording and reporting the financial condition of the County within the guidelines set forth by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. It is further responsible for the enforcement and collection of delinquent property and school taxes in accordance with Real Property Tax Law. It also invests County funds securely, while maximizing interest earnings. Payroll processing is another very important part of the Treasurer's Office.
Tax Installment Payment Program: A program that enables delinquent taxpayers to set up an agreement with the County Treasurer to pay back taxes on a two-year installment plan.
