Ulster County Area Transit offers safe, affordable, reliable public transportation throughout Ulster County, with limited service to Orange County and connecting service to Dutchess County.. The system is designed to coordinate with other public transportation providers to offer commuter service and rural route service. ADA service requires next day reservations.

Registered seniors (60 or over) ride once a week free and all medical transportation is free.

UCAT also serves as the Transportation Information Center for Ulster County. Passengers may call for information about all transportation providers in and around Ulster County.

Bus Fares (Fares are based on the number of zones traveled and any off route service provided.)

• $.75 to board the bus (entitles you to one zone)
• $.25 for each additional zone
• $.50 additional for any single off route service
• Off route response (off route to off route) is double the single off route fare

Method of Payment: Fares are cash. Discounted bus passes are available.
