Steps for reading the bus schedules (Use example schedule below.):

1. After selecting the area you are interested in, e.x. Kingston (Including Mall Area), by clicking the appropriate area on the Bus Schedules page, determine the direction of travel (e.x. SUNY Ulster to Kingston to Mall Area) by looking at the various tables on the selected schedule page.
2. Find the location of your origination point in the left-hand column (e.x. Kingston Plaza).
3. Read across to the right to find the closest time meeting your needs (e.x. 8:05). If "NS" or "---" is in the time slot it means No Service in that time period.
4. Read down the column to the row corresponding to your destination. If there is a posted time (e.x. 8:10*) in the time slot at your desired destination, it means the bus will go there. An asterisk * means it is on request. If there is 'NS' or '----' in place of a time, it means that there is no service to that location at that particular time. In this case go back to step 4 and select another time at your origination point.
5. Parenthesis ( ) around a time means that the bus is traveling in the opposite direction but is listed for connection information.
6. For the Mall Area, the following stores are automatic stops: HV Mall food court, Walmart, Staples and Hannaford unless otherwise indicated. Additional stores (such as Kings Mall) are on request by contacting the office.
