Periodic Compensation Review Committee

Pursuant to the Ulster County Charter, the Periodic Compensation Review Committee is responsible to review the current salaries of all Ulster County elected officials and provide recommendations for future salaries, and the rationale for them, to the County Executive and the Legislature. The review includes the salaries of the County Executive, the Comptroller, the Sheriff, the County Clerk and the Legislators. The District Attorney is exempt from this review because this salary is set by New York State Law. The recommendations of the Committee can be viewed below.
