Internships

Ulster County has many departments that rely on student interns and/or volunteers on a regular basis. Interns are able to gain hands-on “real world” experience with a local government department, while at the same time helping Ulster County serve our residents, businesses and visitors. Interns and volunteers have the ability to earn course credit.

Apply for Climate Corps

The Ulster County Climate Corps is a paid, project-based ten-week summer internship program. Participants will be assigned to County departments to help implement the County’s climate and sustainability initiatives and meet the goals of the NYS Climate Act.
