Ulster County Health Department

The Ulster County Mental Health Department promotes mental wellness and provides comprehensive support services so that all residents have access to the care and resources they need to thrive.

Access Supports for Living

Access Supports for Living offers comprehensive services for adults and youth, including a walk-in "urgent care" for immediate evaluation and counseling, as well as ongoing clinical services like individual therapy and medication management for psychiatric conditions.

These services are provided by experienced licensed clinical staff and certified peers, ensuring professional and compassionate care for all clients.This outpatient program is licensed by the NYS Office of Mental Health.

Children's Home of Poughkeepsie

Since its founding in 1847 as the Poughkeepsie Orphan House and Home of the Friendless, the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie has been dedicated to providing hope and healing to at-risk children and families across New York State. Today, the Home offers a comprehensive range of Community-Based and Residential Services, supported by a skilled team of nearly 400 professionals, including social workers, nurses, and therapists.

Accredited by the Council on Accreditation and licensed by state agencies, the Children’s Home is a trusted leader in child welfare, serving over 2,000 children and families annually. With over 177 years of compassionate care, the organization continues to create nurturing environments that empower children to heal, grow, and thrive.

People USA

People USA is a peer-led organization dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve wellness and recovery through compassion, respect, and innovative approaches. Founded and operated by people who have overcome behavioral health challenges, we provide trauma-informed, person-centered services that prioritize safety, mutual understanding, and personal growth.

People USA's mission is rooted in creating welcoming and inclusive environments where individuals feel heard, validated, and supported in defining and reaching their own goals. By focusing on strengths, fostering trust, breaking down barriers to care, inspiring hope, and demonstrating that recovery is not just possible but expected.
