Our Services

Single Point of Access (SPOA)

SPOA connects people with serious mental health needs to the care they need. SPOA coordinates among care providers and streamlines referrals. We collaborate with providers is to ensure our residents do not fall through the cracks and we advocate for behavioral health systemic improvement on the behalf of those most vulnerable and in need.

Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT)

Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) or Kendra’s Law provides for either voluntary or court-ordered treatment for adults who have a mental illness and who may have difficulty living safely in the community without supervision.

Ulster County Center for Well-Being

A hub for behavioral health services, offering mental health, substance use, and crisis support services for adults and children under one roof. Services include urgent behavioral health care, outpatient treatment, and peer-led recovery support.

Mobile Mental Health

Call (844) 277-4820 to connect with a trained counselor when stress, depression or other mental health issues create a personal crisis.

Middle School Mental Health Support Teams

Ulster County is now offering a new program to middle school students and their families at no cost. In a partnership with LaSalle School, teams of mental health clinicians and case managers will work directly in all of the county middle schools to provide direct support to young people and their families.
