EMS Plan Ulster County's EMS plan, the "EMS Stabilization & Enhancement Plan," addresses service gaps and workforce shortages. The plan involves a multi-million-dollar investment and coordination with local agencies to create a more reliable and sustainable emergency medical services system.
Emergency Communications Network The County is working on an emergency communications systems upgrade to address the existing gaps and a lack of coverage to meet the needs of emergency service providers who are serving County residents.
Project SAFE Ulster County's Project SAFE is a voluntary emergency alert program that allows individuals, families and caregivers of residents with cognitive or developmental conditions to submit personal and behavioral information to the County's secure 911 dispatch system, triggering a special alert to notify first responders during an emergency.
Medical Reserve Corps The Ulster County Medical Reserve Corps is an all-volunteer network that supports local health and emergency services during public health emergencies, disasters, and community health events.
