The Traffic Safety Board promotes traffic and transportation safety through study, advocacy, and public education — championing the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users at the most risk.

Membership Rules

The Traffic Safety Board shall consist of 12 members appointed for terms of three years by the County Executive and confirmed by the County Legislature. Members must be residents of Ulster County; the board must consist of at least one resident from the City of Kingston but must not exceed three.
