The Ulster County Legislature this evening passed a local law, proposed by County Executive Jen Metzger and the Legislature’s Law Enforcement & Public Safety Committee Chair Deborah Clinton (D-16, Gardiner/Plattekill), establishing a Countywide program to deter illegal passings of stopped school buses using stop‑arm safety cameras.

Astor Services offers a variety of youth and family mental health and advocacy services at the Trudy Center from 9 AM - 8 PM, Tuesdays through Thursdays. They offer family, individual, and group therapy; crisis intervention and safety planning, psychiatric services and medication management; substance use screening and treatment; and more.

Family Services operates a Behavioral Health Center at the Trudy Center from 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM on Wednesdays. They offer individual and group therapy by licensed therapists and counselors who practice with person-centered and evidence-based approaches. Family Services has a team of Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, and Registered Nurses to help with medical and medication needs.
