KINGSTON, NY - Ulster County Executive Jen Metzger has rescinded the County‑wide travel restrictions as of 8 AM today, Monday, February 23, following improved conditions after Winter Storm Hernando. Roadways have become passable, and plow operations have progressed sufficiently to allow for the safe resumption of non‑essential travel.
Ulster County Government will operate on a delayed schedule today, opening at 12 noon.
Please note that UCAT service will fully resume at 2 PM today.
Residents are still urged to use caution, as cleanup operations continue and some areas may remain slippery or narrowed due to snow accumulation.
Additional updates will be posted to the County website ulstercountyny.gov/emergency-notices and County social media channels.
