NOTICE
Unpaid 2025 General Taxes and 2024/2025 School Taxes will be filed on a List of Delinquent Taxes in the Office of the Ulster County Clerk on November 1, 2025. The recording of that list will create a Notice of Pendency (lien), which is technically the start of the foreclosure process.
To avoid a $250.00 administrative charge, payments must be received no later than October 31, 2025. Please note, as of November 1, 2025, all payments must include the additional $250.00 administrative charge.
For the exact amount due, please call (845) 340-3431 between 9am and 5pm Monday – Friday. Payments are accepted in the form of a certified check or money order payable to Ulster County Finance Dept. If paying in person; cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are also accepted. Payments made with debit or credit cards will be charged an additional fee.
