The Ulster County Department of Health hosts a number of clinics to prevent and treat disease. Most clinics require appointments. Please call ahead.

Vaccines for Children

Available Vaccines

The following vaccines for children are available at our vaccination clinics (per applicable age and eligibility requirements):

  • COVID-19 vaccine 
  • Flu vaccine. 
  • Diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis combination vaccines (DTaP, and Tdap) 
  • Tetanus and diphtheria vaccine (Td) 
  • Haemophilus influenza type b vaccine 
  • Hepatitis A vaccine 
  • Hepatitis B vaccine 
  • Human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV) 
  • Inactivated polio vaccine 
  • Measles, mumps, and rubella combination vaccine (MMR) 
  • Meningococcal vaccine

Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and HIV

Confidential clinic services for testing, treatment, and prevention of sexually transmitted infections.

Clinic is held every Monday from 5 - 7 PM by appointment only.

Tuberculosis (TB) Clinics

TB Clinics are held the 2nd Friday of each month from 10 AM - 12 PM.

Mantoux tuberculin skin tests (TSTs) are also administered, and may incur and administration fee.

Our nurses will inform you of eligibility requirements and any forms you need to bring to the appointment.

Step 2.Attend Appointment and Learn More

At your appointment, a nurse will review your paperwork and provide clinical services. You will be given resources and other information about follow-up care.

Children

If you are the parent or guardian of a child needing vaccination:

Step 1.Schedule an Appointment

Clinics are offered by appointment only on the 1st Wednesday of every month from 9:30 AM - 11:30 PM, and the third Wednesday of every month from 2 PM - 4 PM.

Our nurses will inform you of eligibility requirements and any forms you need to bring to the appointment.

At your child's appointment, a nurse will review your paperwork and provide the vaccine. You will be given resources and other information about follow-up care.

Refer a Child

As a school nurse or administrator, if you have a student out of compliance with NYS regulations for any vaccinations, please call us at (845) 340-3070 to refer the child to our Patient Services team.
