It is a spotlight on the people and services of the Department of Health, and it is a movement that calls in everyone to the shared understanding that public health is a community responsibility.

Nominate a Public Health Champion

We couldn’t make Ulster County healthy without you. Which is why we’re launching our inaugural Ulster County Public Health Champions to celebrate the everyday champions of health and wellness!

We are asking residents to nominate their neighbor, favorite business, or organization who they think is a Public Health Champion. Winners will be recognized with a celebratory ceremony at the end of the year. Nominations are due Friday, July 31 at 2pm ET.
