Adult Services

The Adult Services Unit is comprised of the Adult Protective Unit and the Personal Care Unit.

Our centralized intake process provides access to all DSS Adult Services and Office for the Aging programs.

Adult Protective Services

Adult Protective Services helps people over the age of 18 who, because of physical or mental impairments, are unable to provide for their own needs or protect themselves from abuse or neglect, and have no one who can responsibly assist them.

Personal Care Program

The Personal Care Program provides home care services for people who are Medicaid-eligible and have a verified medical diagnosis that prevents them from being able to remain in their homes without assistance.
