Ulster County DSS is seeking public comment on its 2026-2027 Temporary Assistance/SNAP Employment Plan. The plan is designed to address the needs of public assistance and SNAP recipients by providing work activities and supportive services necessary to prepare these individuals to compete in the labor market and gain long term independence.
The plan can be viewed here: Temporary Assistance/SNAP Employment Plan(PDF, 627KB). Physical copies are available for review at the Ulster County Department of Social Services, or can be requested by calling the Commissioner’s Office at (845) 334-5221.
